Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic style of yoga that is designed to tone and purify our body and bring focus to the mind. Essentially a moving meditation. There are 6 series of set sequences in total that could seem intimidating at first glance. However, by slowing down the pace and breaking down the asanas in the primary series, it is a friendlier and more accessible introduction. And more importantly by incorporating the Iyengar inspired adjustments to improve alignment and offering modifications for all postures to suit any ability are crucial to create a safe and lifelong yoga practice.
Coco is a bilingual yoga instructor who teaches Ashtanga, Pranayama, Meditation, Gentle flow, and Aerial yoga. She has lived in Canada for 10 years and is now based back in her home of Taiwan. Coco is passionate about creating entry points for everyone to connect with their own body and mind, and also to share her personal transformative experience through yoga. Her philosophy is:
