Kiam was born in the Caribbean . He spent a lot of time in Southeast Asia, starting in Nepal and Thailand where he discovered Vipassana Meditation and Buddhism philosophy. In Australia he fell in love with Qigong, a practice of Traditional Chinese medicine, and practiced the Choy lee Fu System a few years then studied at The Five Immortal Temple in Wudang Mountain China.
